The Schoolhouse Expo

Don’t forget to go sign up for the Schoolhouse EXPO! Since posting about this last week, I have registered and downloaded a ton of free gifts (in the form of e-books–and not crummy ones–really great whole unit studies and other stuff).

After setting up my registration and looking through the speakers and getting the free gifts, I am even more certain that this is a valuable event. I cannot wait to hear some of the speakers. And another good thing is that you can download and save any talks you miss–and watch them at your leisure.

Do check this out! The Schoolhouse Expo, is a 3-day, online conference, presented by The Old Schoolhouse® Magazine and The Old Schoolhouse® Speakers Bureau.

Great Speakers, physical door prizes, great interaction, and PowerPoint presentations you don’t want to miss.

Save $5 when you Pre-register for only $19.99 through March 31. PLUS, you’ll receive over $300 in free gifts when you register. Get the details and preregister here:

The Schoolhouse Expo

The Schoolhouse ExpoI am excited to check this out! A virtual homeschool convention designed for all homeschoolers. The Schoolhouse Expo, is a 3-day, online conference, presented by The Old Schoolhouse® Magazine and The Old Schoolhouse® Speakers Bureau.

The conference offers help for all kinds of homeschool needs and questions. Questions like:

  • Could you use some help with learning styles and homeschool methods?
  • Are you struggling through writing transcripts?
Are you struggling to teach multiple grades?
    How is your homeschool budget—wavering?
    Are you considering Homeschooling?

Attend this incredibly innovative, interactive event. Brought to you by a company you trust—TOS.

Dynamic homeschool speakers . . . Andrew Pudewa, Davis Carman, Malia Russell, Amanda Bennett, Susan Wise Bauer, Kim Kautzer, and perhaps Diana Waring.

Incredible homeschool companies . . . Schola Publications, Spears Art Studio, ALEKS, Motherboard Books, Math Mammoth, Talking Fingers, and Sing ‘n Learn.

Physical door prizes, great interaction, and PowerPoint presentations you don’t want to miss.

And, (this is my favorite part) the Expo is easy to attend—just a high-speed Internet connection and speakers are required. No travel expense, no sitter, yet you can enjoy a virtual vendor hall with special conference pricing, physical door prizes at every session, and a goodie bag of downloads for every registered participant.

Need to be flexible? That is ok–the Schoolhouse Expo lets you attend the sessions you choose and continue with your day-to-day schedule, while still enjoying all of the audio downloads, so you can listen to every session at your convenience—repeatedly.

Save $5 when you Pre-register for only $19.99 through March 31. PLUS, you’ll receive over $300 in free gifts when you register. Get the details and preregister here:

Holiday Ideas!

I have been waiting for this! Go get yours!

2009 Holiday Digital Supplement/Idea Book

Firefighter_Cover_med_tiltedNote to all moms:) This series is adorable and has many activities to do with your kids. PS: you don’t have to be a homeschool mom to enjoy doing some of these type of things with your kids…these activity books & lapbook  type things are  great for, say, a rainy Saturday or just for “together” time. One of the things I have enjoyed most about being a homeschool mom is sitting and having great stuff to do with them (I admit it, I’m lousy at playing…:)

I reviewed this series a while back and they are all on sale right now. Click here to see the whole series -but this one is free and who doesn’t want to read about firefighters! I can think of a few little guys I’m printing this out for.

Free WannaBe E-Book!

All the kids wonder,
“What would it be like to be a firefighter?”

One of a young child’s favorite field trips is to the fire station. There he’s introduced to Mr. Firefighter, his clunky yet all-important fire suit, the awesome hook-and-ladder truck, and special lifesaving equipment. You won’t want to stop at just a trip to the fire station though! This study covers so much more–a nitty-gritty, comprehensive, behind-the-scenes look into the life of a firefighter!

All this great information and more are in one of our most popular WannaBe Series™ E-Books, When I Grow Up I Want to Be a Firefighter. This $8.95 value is yours free. Help your child discover the answer to the question, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” while learning about becoming a fireman. This could be the spark that ignites the fire of interest for your child–and who knows what path it may take?
