What are some of your favorite childhood weekend breakfast memories? When I was little, I remember my Mom doing a full breakfast and Dad making fires on weekend mornings. They would then read the papers while we ran around. In the summer, we would eat all this outside. I remember homemade treats and plenty of orange juice.
Oh, yes, I was spoiled! These days, for some families, it is difficult just to get together and eat and rest—to enjoy food and family times.
It shouldn’t be hard to gather together and enjoy a treat!
Now that I am Mom, I try to recreate that relaxed, easy weekend feeling. While I will do homemade, I also really love the ease of being able to pop open some Pillsbury rolls, yogurts, fruit and OJ. My kids love this. They feel cared for…and I haven’t worked hard at all.
I recently received a Pillsbury Orange Sweet Rolls gift pack. The pack includes a VIP coupon for Pillsbury Orange Sweet Rolls as well as a photo album to help keep my family’s memories close at hand.
I also have a gift pack to give away to one of my readers! To enter to win a Sweet Sunday Morning Gift Pack, please leave a comment sharing how you enjoy weekend mornings with your family– or what your favorite childhood memories of weekend morning breakfasts are.
