Nature Friend Magazine

Our little explorer w/magazine & binoculars!

Our little explorer with "her" magazine, pj's, sunglasses & binoculars!

Summary and Review: 4.5. Everyone in the house loves this nature magazine! The photography is simply gorgeous and there are articles for everyone from my four year old to my husband. I have to admit–I do leave books and magazines out for the kids and then just wait and see what they do with them.

If they disappear from the coffee tables, I know they are a hit:) With the Nature Friend Magazines, I had to go find them because the kids were passing them around. I noticed when I did get hold of one of the issues, all the puzzles and study guide sections had been filled in. This is great! They are learning (good stuff) when I’m not even looking…

"Helping Children Explore the Wonders of God's Creation"

Next time the magazine comes, I’m going to grab it and use it within some of our science time. The magazine is educational and entertaining by itself, but I think adding the study guide is a good idea. We also like it that the magazine is written from a Biblical, Creationist perspective, and contains no advertising!

They have a great website where you can really get a feel for the magazine. You can look at sample issues, here.

Also, click around below and explore some of the features that are included in the issues:

A one year subscription is $36.  (You can also purchase 2 years and get a $4 discount) The study guide is an additional $2 per issue.  This seemed pricey to me at first (Yes, I am cheap!) But, after watching my children get good use out of the few magazines we got to review, I say go ahead and enjoy this as an add-on curriculum…it is a great surprise for them in the mail and it’s still under $5 per month.

Use the code BLOG93 and get $3 off a subscription! (this code is good on new subscriptions, until Nov. 30th)

Excellent. I Love it!
