Hank just not for us

Summary & Rating: 2. We received some Hank the cowdog products to review. These included the book, The Case of the One-Eyed Killer Stud Horse, Hank’s Tales and Tunes from Hank the Cowdog CD, and Hank’s Tornado Game. Personally, I did not care for the book or CD. Frankly, I thought some of the stories in the book had confusing morals and episodes that I did not think were funny, such as wetting the bed and then lying to parents about that. I also felt that the book had quite a few run-on sentences and errors.

We did enjoy the Tornado game. This game is very similar to the game Sorry. It is simple and fun, with spots marked with “tornados”, which make you “blow back” on the board. Tornado is for 2-4 players, ages 5 and up. The game is $12.99. I especially appreciate the fact that the game can be packed up, with all the pieces fitting inside, and sliding tabs to keep the game closed.

I’m not excited, but it could be useful
