This year, I was so excited to find some super cool boys toys for Christmas at good prices. While my boys are all growing up, I have quite a few nephews as well, and it is fun to get them something I know my boys would have liked!
First off, I liked the idea of a theme present that two of my nephews, brothers could play with together. I wanted to get them both play vehicles. Toy State‘s Cat® Preschool line was perfect for the little one, and the older child will like the more advanced vehicle! All the toys are based on the “real” thing and will be fun for young construction enthusiasts! I got the two pictured, but there are many styles available at Toys R Us, Wal-Mart, Kmart, and Target.
CAT E-Z Machines Radio Control (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price: $12.00, Ages 2+)
“Now young machine enthusiasts can experience the ―feel of real with Cat E-Z Machines R/C, a new preschool radio control collection with an easy-to-operate, one-button remote controller—a perfect ―first‖ radio control toy. Kids press the singular remote button and the machine bolts forward; release the button and it spins. The remote also activates an elevated, motorized bucket and dump bed. Available in four models: Cat Dump Truck, Cat Wheel Loader, Cat Bulldozer, and Cat Skid Steer. Controller requires two AA batteries (not included). Machine requires three AAA batteries (not included).”
CAT Job Site Machines (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price: $20.00 – $25.00, Ages 5+)
“There‘s a lot of work to do, and these Cat Job Site Machines really know how to get the job done. Listen close to the foreman‘s instructions, and then crank up those hard drivin‘ construction tunes. Each machine features classic CAT styles with working lights, motorized driving and machine bed, and blade or boom features. Available in three models: Cat Dump Truck, Cat Bulldozer, Cat Wheel Loader and Cat Excavator. Available in push-button or tethered remote versions. Requires three AA batteries (included).”
While shopping for the little guys, I saw something my son would like that I never did get him when he was little. So, I gave this to Nick. You can see what he thought below!
CAT Iron Diesel Train Set (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price: $15.00, Ages 5+)
“This small scale motorized Cat train has over seven feet of track, a train car carrying two removable Cat machines, and a pivoting crane car with removable shipping container. Requires two ―AA batteries (not included).”
Okay…so I liked the CAT toys. They are sturdy and so realistic and just boyish!
I still had another nephew and some stocking stuffing to do…so I went looking for some more boy toys…and saw the DUB Garage Blazerz from Toy State. This car had Emma and I laughing so hard! It is so wild what they can do these days. The car drives forward and backward and speaks and plays music. It is hilarious. My kids loved it.
DUB GARAGE BLAZERZ (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price: $24.99, Ages 6+)
“You‘ll be ready to rule the playground as this truly dynamic ride features an eye-catching light show. Windows have a cityscape pattern to create the illusion of driving through the city at night. Featuring LED lights, music, and more, BLAZERZ is a must-have sports car.”
For the stockings, we found some Flash rides, mini cars and bikes with sounds and lights as well!
Flash Rides (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price: $10.00, Ages 3+)
“These new free-wheeling vehicles are styled with various lights and sounds features that are sure to thrill any young child. This new assortment comes with a variety of vibrant colored vehicle models for children to choose from, including motorcycles, trucks, SUVs and more! Available at major retailers nationwide.”
The we needed a big Road Rippers motorcycle, to go with the little ones!
Wheelie Power (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price: $15.00, Ages 3+)
“Get those engines revvin‘ for fun on 2 wheels! With licensed vehicle styles and exciting wheelie action, Wheelie Power puts a new spin on fun. With lights, and fun sound and music effects, it‘s the perfect vehicle for your speedster. Requires three AA batteries (included). Available at: Walmart, Kmart, and Toys R’ Us”
And the last, but not least toy on this list was the Zillionz, Savings Goal ATM. I originally planned to gift this, but Emma went nuts over it and has used it since the day it came into the house! It really is a neat toy, set up to look just like an ATM, kids can put in their card and deposit their savings! The bank counts it up for you nad keeps a running total. Other features include an alarm clock and an automatic bill feeder. This is very cool. The only con is that it is noisy when in use. I love how it can be mounted on the wall for the kids just like the real thing.
SAVINGS GOAL ATM (Ages 5 & Up, Approximate Retail Value: $29.99)
“Now you can have your own ATM in your room! The Savings Goal ATM works with real money. Stand it up or hang on a wall with the built-in wall mount. The Savings Goal ATM features a single-screen backlit digital display. Just insert the ATM card to activate the screen and view your savings. The coin slot recognizes the value of each coin and the automatic bill feeder accepts real currency. The secure vault will also keep your money safe – only you have access with your digital access code. Available in two different color combinations: steel/blue and pink/lavender.”
I received complimentary product for this review from Team Mom. I have given my honest opinion about each toy.
