I don’t know about you, but when I choose a book it is either for its entertainment value or for the purpose of learning something new. Randall Arthur’s newest novel, Wisdom Hunter, combines both criteria. The author uses the life experiences of Pastor Jason Faircloth, to draw you into this suspenseful spiritual journey–a journey exploring Christian legalism vs. Christian grace.
As Jason goes through his life, several of his experiences allow the reader to be ushered into his inner sanctum as he attempts to reconcile his long-held religious beliefs with what he is going through. As I progressed through the story, I found myself wrestling alongside Jason. What would my response be? What should it be? How would I feel?
The book held my attention and really explored some issues. My husband took it from beside our bed & read it also–he loved it!
Randall Arthur has added a short discussion guide that will further enhance your experience.
