Aloha! It’s Friday–go ahead, relax:)
Aloha Friday was started by Kailani over at An Island Life blog. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. If you want to play, simply answer the question below & go over to An IslandLife here!
My question: What is your favorite Fall tradition? Seems like the main thing we do year after year is going to the Apple Orchard. You?
PS: Today, I’d like to do a giveaway of the Book, Fearless, by Max Lucado. I reviewed it here. Hardcopy. I really liked it. So, leave your comment if you want in:) I will close giveaway and choose a random winner Saturday @ 5 p.m. (Now closed) Have a good weekend!

We like to go to a local orchard where they sell apples and other fruits throughout the year. We buy their cider and bags of apples and I make apple pies during the Fall months.
I’ll have to check out the review of Fearless. Thanks!

My parents have a big apple orchard and every year in the fall they have a bon-fire. It is so much fun!
Oh, Nina I love your tradition! We just got our first firepit this summer and had fun. Now, we can’t use in the mountains! But, I would love to start a tradition like that for my kids, that sounds so fun.
Apple picking and thanksgiving… hands down!

Pumpkin picking!
Our only fall tradition aside from Halloween is getting the wood in for the winter. It’s a common pastime in North Idaho.
My family goes to the apple orchard every year, too! I just love Honeycrisps fresh off the tree. Yum!
We love going apple picking and pumpkin picking, but this year I don’t think we’ll be able to do that as we’re in the desert now. We start decorating for fall on October first. I love preparing our Thanksgiving meal and all of the yummy smells. Yep, I love fall. It’s just going to be a bit different this year…

I love Thanksgiving…we write – year after year – on the same tablecloth, what we’re thankful for. It has been neat to see what the kids have written in years past.

We love to rake up the leaves and jump in them, over and over again.
I have so many favorites about fall! Decorations – pumpkins, leaves. Going to the pumpkin patch is my favorite field trip of the whole year! I also love fall scented candles burning at home. Thanks for the chance to win the book, I have heard it is a good one!
