What a fascinating book! I found this book to be worthy of some serious study. Going through the book, I was underlining and highlighting like crazy. The author travels through the scriptures exploring the role of Angels throughout history and in our world today.
Jeremiah’s main assertion is that Angels are at work in our world and that the Angels are certainly not chubby, weak little cherubs! Much more often, as we look at scripture, we see a vision of Angels as powerful warriors enacting the will of God.
Dr. Jeremiah discusses facts—such as the fact that the Bible contains over 300 direct references to Angels. He also uses scripture to attempt to explore and answer questions such as, “What does Jesus say about Angels?” and “What is the relationship between the Holy Spirit and Angels?”
The author also refers to the studies of other theologians and recounts some wonderful unexplainable stories regarding Angels. This is a book I will read several times.
The Official Write Up:
What are angels? What is their role in God’s plan? Are they present? Do they appear? Do they give us personal insight about our work, our worship? Many contemporary beliefs about angels are based on misconception and myth. Dr. David Jeremiah uses scripture to unveil the remarkable truth about these agents of heaven, and their role and work in our world—and lives.
Relevant, little known biblical facts help readers sharpen their knowledge and sensitivities toward the spiritual reality of angels. Dr. Jeremiah’s enlightening findings are supported with illustrations and insights from Billy Graham, Corrie ten Boom, C.S. Lewis, and more.

Angels by Dr. David JeremiahRelated posts:

I view angels as ministering spirits to human, sent by God. Sometimes they are angels unaware when we entertain 'people.' I'm sure there are other passages on angels. I would love to read Dr. Jeremiah's views/insights. Please enter me. Thank you.
I like to think that angels are loved ones that have passed on. When I was 16 I lost my Grandmother, Grandfather and family dog of 17 years within 6 months. It was a very very hard time for me. The only thing that made me feel better was the thoughts that my Grandparents were still watching over me and helping My Family and I through that horrible time. I would love to read this book. Thank you for the chance.

This sounds like a very interesting book. I think it's important to have a biblical understanding of angels. God created them for a purpose and the scriptures are great for discovering that purpose. When my grandmother passed away, she was in ICU. My uncle came in to see her and as he sat at the foot of the bed she became very agitated. She ws upset that he was trying to sit where the angels were! My grandmother was an outspoken, strong Christian woman. I know those angels were there to usher her into the presence of her heavenly Father.
What a wonderful story!
Following with google friend.
I already have this book and loved it. I would love to win another copy because my sister, who was recently in a fire, loves angels and really wants a copy of this book. I do hope I can win it for her!

Please enter me – I don't know much about angels – I usually think of the song Amy Grant sings, "Angels Watchin' Over Me".
I know that angels are God's messengers and "helpers" and would love to learn more about them.
I follow on Google.
I view angels as a message or a symbol of something or someone that the viewer needs to see. Almost magical
I know that angles are god's helpers. I don't have a story to tell, but in the future that may change.
