THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED

At our house, we have been experimenting with going gluten free.  Our four year old has many allergies and also appears to be sensitive to sugar and gluten. I know going gluten free is something that will help her and probably all the rest of the family…but it is difficult to change my shopping and cooking habits! Do you find it difficult to find easy, fun, gluten free snacks for your kids?

Finding a Betty Crocker “Simple Joys” prize pack on the step yesterday was a great surprise for my little one. She was thrilled to open the box with 2 packages of Betty Crocker Fruit-Flavored Snacks, a retro Pick `em Up Sticks game, a light-up yo-yo and a classic Frisbee.

It is amazing how much kids like those fruit roll-ups & snacks! Her brothers came in and tried to confiscate the pick-up sticks, yo-yo and a pack of snacks, and Em shared but didn’t give them away. My kids agreed the snacks tasted great and were fun…of course we got bug ones…how did they know Emma has three brothers:)

Gluten_Free_Fruit_Snacks_Prize_PackThis was also fun for me. I was happy to not have to say no to a treat and the little toys are cute! I think it is so helpful that Betty Crocker is offering the gluten free snacks. The snacks are simple, made with fruit, less than 100 calories and taste…well, just like fruit roll-ups and fruit snacks!

I have one additional Betty Crocker “Simple Joys” prize pack to give away to my readers! The pack includes 2 packages of the Betty Crocker Fruit-Flavored Snacks, a retro Pick `em Up Sticks game, a light-up yo-yo and a classic Frisbee.

Please tell me one of your “Simple Joys” for the kids in a comment for a chance to win the prize pack!

I will enter! We have had one child tested for Celiac, yet she turned out negative, thankfully! But my dad has gone completely gluten free! We might want to try going gluten free with that one child, and this would help! :)

Probably my favorite simple joy is reading with my kids. Every morning the children and I read the Bible and pray together. Then we read what we call our “family book.” We love starting each day reading and spending some time together.

One of our simple joys is sharing cocoa on the front porch swing. I don’t have a gluten free recipe but I saw gluten free Chex cereal while vacationing in Missouri (not yet here in Louisiana) so there might be a way to make our traditional fall Chex mix with that.
