We have added some great fun to our school week, doing the The Instant Challenge Meme over at Delightful Learning. This is a gifted learning type game for kids from Destination Imagination.

I was so proud of my son during this week’s challenge!

First of all, Nick & Emma did the challenge. They both built great boats–and we stuck to the right time limits.

After, I mentioned I wished I had made a video, instead of taking pictures during the challenge (hey, you just never know if there will be delightful team conversations or ridiculous arguments…but I figured I could always cut.)

Anyway, shortly after I said I wished I had made a video, Nick brought me…his YouTube slideshow/video of Instant Challenge #2!

As I watched this I realized just how far we have come from having a houseful of “little-bittys”. Aside from Emma, all of our children are –GASP– pretty independent and very helpful. So, just for the record…Time FLIES.

So those of you with homes full of little bittys…needing loves, and diapers changed, and noses wiped…hang in there. Soon your kids may be doing your posts! I just wish I had better cameras all this time. Thanks, Nick!
